This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Calculate A/R reserves, which encompass contractual allowances, bad debt reserves, and charity reserves for designated companies.
• Generate monthly closing schedules pertaining to net revenue and net accounts receivable.
• Create analyses and reports focused on payer performance related to net revenue outcomes.
• Develop planning and forecasting models for the assigned companies.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for the designated companies, accounts, and worktags.
• Act as a subject matter expert to peers.
• Execute analyses that range from complex to highly complex.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Report risks and issues to management promptly.
• Engage in a mandatory Microsoft Teams video interview and potential onsite interviews and meetings.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited institution; education will be verified.
• Proven experience with accounting systems, financial forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Advanced experience in a role that necessitates analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with accounting, healthcare net patient revenues, accounts receivable, revenue cycle, data analysis, accounting systems and software, the monthly close process, U.S. GAAP, and net revenue valuation.
• Preferred: A master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited institution.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare and net revenue.
• Preferred: Proven expertise in analytics utilizing various tools and processes.
• Preferred: CPA or Kodiak Certified Net Revenue Analyst (CNRA) designation.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Epic, Cerner, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, and Workday.
• Preferred: Strong proficiency in the Kodiak Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) net revenue tool.
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements, including frequent computer use, verbal communication, understanding spoken information, and manual dexterity.
• Candidates must not live or intend to live in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, or Washington; remote workers in Colorado must be aligned with an Intermountain facility or service area not located in Colorado.
