Senior .NET Developer, VB6

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and enhancement of applications created using SQL Server and C# .NET.

• Contribute to the formulation of innovative and resilient solutions.

• Promote ongoing refinement of processes and engineering methodologies.

• Guide junior developers and foster a culture of learning.

• Engage in systems architecture and development, focusing on performance and scalability.

• Emphasize the impact of solutions and user experience to fulfill client requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement effective, high-quality solutions.

• Maintain and improve existing systems while identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL Server 2016 or newer, including stored procedures, functions, views, tables, and indexes.

• Experience in optimizing query performance, SQL profiling, and related optimization techniques.

• Expert knowledge of C# and various versions of the .NET Framework.

• Familiarity with WCF, WPF, Windows Services, Web Services, Console Applications, and Web APIs.

• Experience with Windows Forms and MVC frameworks.

• Knowledge of database integration, data loading patterns, and layered architecture.

• Experience in developing REST APIs, including handling JSON payloads, deserialization, HTTP headers, status codes, and authentication methods.

• Proficient in using GIT for version control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.

• Background in production support, application monitoring, and performance profiling tools (preferred).

• Understanding of Windows Server administration, IIS configuration, and troubleshooting complex multi-tier applications (preferred).
