Senior Java Engineer, Documentum

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, and deploy enterprise-level Java-based solutions for clients.

• Maintain and enhance existing software applications by assessing and pinpointing areas for improvement.

• Collaborate closely with client teams and ensure alignment with business requirements.

• Generate and sustain technical and system documentation.

• Assess technical feasibility and suggest alternative approaches.

• Mentor and support junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• At least 7 years of professional experience within the IT sector.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Java-based solutions, ideally with Java 17 or later.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Java platform, object-oriented programming, and dependency injection.

• Strong background in Documentum upgrades.

• Significant experience with SOAP and RESTful web services.

• Excellent understanding of design patterns and best practices in software architecture.

• Solid experience with code quality metrics and testing coverage.

• Substantial experience in relational databases, preferably Oracle.

• Extensive experience with Java EE Application Servers, such as WildFly.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to design and implement solutions with minimal oversight.
