This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and sustain scalable .NET systems for the Sport Math Team.
• Ensure optimal performance, resilience, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and enhance development practices.
• Design and execute scalable, resilient, and efficient software architectures.
• Write, test, and debug intricate code for both new and existing applications.
• Conduct code assessments to ensure quality, security, and compliance with best practices.
• Deliver production-ready code promptly.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and team members.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and operations to ensure development aligns with business goals.
• Research and implement technologies and methodologies to enhance software performance and processes.
• Identify and resolve complex software issues and technical challenges.
• Promote continuous improvement in development methodologies.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders and present technical concepts and project updates.
• Extensive experience in designing scalable and resilient .NET systems utilizing microservices, event-driven, and cloud-native approaches.
• Proficient in advanced C# programming.
• Experience in RESTful API development.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming.
• Expertise in design and resilience patterns, including DDD, CQRS, and circuit breaker.
• Skilled in SQL optimization, data modeling, and indexing.
• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience with Kafka.
• Experience in optimizing high-load systems, caching, and distributed computing.
• Solid background with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong emphasis on testing with xUnit and NUnit.
• Monitoring experience using Serilog and App Insights.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Proven track record of mentoring peers and influencing technical decisions within Agile teams.
• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• Proficient in Ukrainian/Russian at a B2 level or higher.
• Experience in leading or managing software development projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS, as well as cloud-native service design, is a plus.
• Experience in enhancing software development practices and SDLC processes is a plus.
