Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage with clients during the analysis phase.

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.

• Work on complex projects within the insurance sector.

• Function in a dynamic environment with systems currently undergoing migration.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure project integration and timely delivery.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews.

• Align project goals with business objectives.

• Identify and resolve both technical and operational challenges.

• Ensure the stability and performance of applications.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development and deployment processes.

• Utilize code assistants to expedite feature development.

• Generate prompts for code creation, refactoring, and documentation.

• Critically assess AI-generated recommendations prior to approval.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in IT.

• At least 3 years of experience with DevOps automation, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.

• Advanced expertise in C# (.NET Framework and .NET Core), ASP.NET, PL/SQL, Web Services and APIs, Azure Service Bus, APIM, and SQL and Oracle databases.

• Hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure.

• Proficiency in Prompt Engineering as it relates to software development.

• Understanding of few-shot prompting and chain-of-thought prompting for coding.

• Knowledge of data security and privacy considerations when utilizing public or private AI systems.

• Experience with the “Whole Life” insurance product.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline—preferred.

• Relevant DevOps or other IT certifications—an advantage.

• Exceptional communication, teamwork, proactivity, and time-management skills.
