This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.
• Collaborate directly with client teams to identify business challenges, assess technical alternatives, and convert requirements into actionable software solutions.
• Design, build, test, and maintain production-quality applications utilizing .NET, C#, Angular, and contemporary full-stack development methodologies.
• Play a key role in architectural decisions related to application design, APIs, event-driven systems, messaging, data synchronization, and user-facing interfaces.
• Manage features and technical tasks from initial discovery and design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Enhance existing codebases and architectures to boost maintainability, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with client and Trility engineers via pair programming, mob programming, code reviews, and various collaborative practices.
• Establish and refine engineering practices surrounding automated testing, TDD, source control, CI/CD, code review, and secure production delivery.
• Contribute to cloud-native development, incorporating containerization, Infrastructure as Code, and Software-Defined Everything strategies.
• Utilize Git, pull requests, GitHub, GitLab, or Atlassian Bitbucket in source code management and review workflows.
• Articulate technical decisions, tradeoffs, risks, and suggestions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adjust to new technologies, frameworks, codebases, and client environments seamlessly.
• Share expertise with client teams to enhance their capabilities in maintaining and evolving software.
• Propose solutions that align with client requirements, technical limitations, and long-term maintainability.
• Must be a resident of the United States.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without any sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Over 5 years of professional full-stack software development experience with a strong focus on .NET and C#.
• Proficient in developing applications using Angular, including components, services, modules, and overall application architecture.
• Comprehensive full-stack experience with event-driven architectures, API development, and user-facing applications.
• Preferred experience with WPF; proficiency in XAML or similar UI frameworks is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of MVVM principles is preferred; familiarity with MVC or similar architectural patterns is beneficial.
• Knowledge of NetMQ is a plus; familiarity with similar messaging and data synchronization frameworks is desirable.
• Strong grasp of Test-Driven Development and best practices in automated testing.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development, containerization, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and deployment methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, GitHub, GitLab, or Atlassian Bitbucket.
• Experience with Software-Defined Everything practices, including Infrastructure as Code and Environment as Code.
• Capability to adapt to new coding environments, technologies, frameworks, and client-specific systems.
• Ability to assume responsibility for technical decisions, communicate tradeoffs, and propose balanced solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in collaborative engineering settings focused on knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Consulting or professional services experience is preferred.
