Junior/SemiSenior Back-End Engineer, Python - Security and Safety Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs.

• Create scalable applications utilizing Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Work in collaboration with front-end developers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Enhance applications for optimal performance, reliability, and security.

• Diagnose, debug, and enhance existing applications.

• Actively seek opportunities for technical advancements and best practices.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and contemporary back-end development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Python back-end development.

• Strong grasp of RESTful API development and best practices.

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases along with ORM frameworks.

• Proficient in Git and software development best practices.

• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI is preferred.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is beneficial.

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and task queues, such as Celery, is a plus.

• Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest is an asset.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture is a plus.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a readiness to take initiative and continuously learn.

• Must currently reside in Latin America.
