Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical architecture and actively participate in the development for Enterprise customer projects.

• Convert validated solution designs into practical implementations.

• Create and develop integrations among Slack, Salesforce products, and external systems utilizing APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms.

• Configure and enhance Slack functionalities, including Workflow Builder, Slackbot capabilities, Slack AI, admin APIs, and custom applications.

• Collaborate with Solution Designers, Delivery Managers, and technical stakeholders from the customer side to assess feasibility, gauge technical effort, and pinpoint risks.

• Generate and sustain architecture diagrams, integration specifications, configuration documentation, and deployment documentation.

• Facilitate technical workshops and in-depth discussions with customer engineering and administrative teams.

• Diagnose issues and assist in making technical trade-off decisions.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices regarding security, governance, and scalability.

• Assist in post-launch technical adoption, admin enablement, troubleshooting, and platform health assessments.

• Develop reusable technical patterns, accelerators, and AI-driven tools to enhance delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in technical architecture, integration engineering, or direct technical consulting, ideally within SaaS and/or professional services.

• Practical experience in creating integrations and custom solutions on collaboration, workflow, or CRM platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of Slack, including Workflow Builder, admin APIs, Slack AI, Slackbot/custom apps, and Salesforce core clouds and/or Agentforce.

• Hands-on experience with API-driven architecture and integration methodologies, such as REST, webhooks, event streams, and middleware like MuleSoft.

• Proficient coding/scripting skills, including JavaScript/Node, Apex, or Python.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical decisions to customer technical stakeholders and delivery teams.

• Collaborative attitude and ability to work alongside Delivery Managers, Solution Designers, and customers.

• Familiarity with, or the ability to quickly learn, the Salesforce Delivery Methodology.

• A natural curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to sharing technical knowledge and reusable patterns.
