This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Promote Engle Martin’s business offerings and services across the USA, with a primary focus on Texas.
• Seek out new potential customers who require the organization’s services.
• Create business development leads and assist in the distribution and sale of products and services to new clients.
• Collaborate effectively with the sales team, sales support, Specialty Loss Group, and marketing department.
• Formulate and execute strategic sales plans that align with corporate objectives.
• Manage sales proposals and RFPs, along with formal and informal presentations.
• Engage in cold calling and follow up with warm leads generated from marketing initiatives and advertising.
• Oversee sales forecasting and establish performance targets.
• Analyze, oversee, and control spending within designated budgets.
• Collaborate with operational subject matter experts and senior leadership to facilitate pull-through.
• Enhance lead generation and revenue potential through channel distribution.
• Utilize sales statistics and CRM data to devise upselling and cross-selling strategies.
• Identify subject matter experts to aid in closing sales effectively.
• Prepare periodic sales information reports detailing wins and the sales pipeline.
• Review pricing structures and client directives for the claims administration team.
• Stay informed about company products, services, and pertinent customer information.
• Monitor and assess competitors’ actions and products.
• Represent the company at trade association events.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
• Keep track of client spending distribution and the company’s market share compared to competitors.
• Serve as a client liaison for inquiries, complaints, and issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, particularly retail and wholesale brokers.
• Address client needs and facilitate problem resolution.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in Sales or Account Management, ideally within an Insurance/Claims environment, including Independent Adjusting Services and TPA Services.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills that are clear and concise.
• Demonstrated experience in cultivating relationships at various levels within retail and wholesale insurance brokerages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel for work, including evenings, overnight stays, and weekends.
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional meetings and work activities outside of standard business hours.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 10–20 lbs.
• Capacity for frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching; with occasional kneeling and stooping.
• Proficient in operating office equipment.
• Ability to drive periodically as required.
• Regular, full-time, exempt employment status.
• Office equipment provided and utilized as part of the role.
• Work activities may involve travel, including evenings, overnight stays, and weekends.
