This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Advocate for the SHIELD colorectal cancer blood test among primary care healthcare providers.
• Meet or surpass sales objectives through targeted prospecting, relationship development, and implementation of national sales strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers and secure their commitment to the adoption of the SHIELD test for colorectal cancer and other types of cancers.
• Engage with providers to assess their needs and illustrate how Guardant Health solutions can enhance patient outcomes and optimize practice operations.
• Deliver product training and knowledge to primary care practices and relevant stakeholders to facilitate workflow integration.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, product, and sales leadership teams to devise sales strategies and execute go-to-market initiatives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Establish partnerships with regional and local laboratories to broaden outreach and create phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Formulate and implement business plans to support the launch of new cancer screening technologies.
• Assess market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to refine sales tactics.
• Relay customer insights and opportunities to the Commercial Team.
• Provide exemplary customer service and proactively address issues throughout the sales cycle.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while overseeing projects and deadlines.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in a customer-facing role within the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals), or at least 2 years of customer-facing healthcare sales experience coupled with direct clinical experience in a patient care setting as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• A demonstrated history of success and a strong drive for achievement.
• Competence in engaging in sales discussions, addressing objections, and aligning client needs with product offerings.
• A solid understanding of the healthcare provider ecosystem.
• Capacity to swiftly acquire and apply technical product knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
• Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for sales meetings.
• Ability to exhibit curiosity, sound judgment, critical evaluation, and responsible use of AI-enabled tools in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is mandatory.
• Preferred: Experience with diagnostic products, especially blood-based testing or cancer screening solutions, directly to primary care providers.
• Preferred: Understanding of the primary care landscape within the designated territory.
• Preferred: Proven experience in planning and executing product launches within healthcare or diagnostics.
• Preferred: High-touch customer service and relationship-building abilities.
