Senior Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Act as the main motion design collaborator for the Marketing and Product teams.

• Produce animations for social media, promotional videos, logo animations, and outro sequences.

• Design and execute high-quality UI and micro-animations for the mobile application.

• Manage 3D motion projects, which include constructing or importing 3D objects and generating refined animations from the ground up.

• Create and uphold motion guidelines, templates, and assets.

• Work alongside product, visual design, and marketing teams on motion graphics and video content.

• Monitor trends in motion graphics, 3D animation, and video editing, integrating contemporary techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Motion Designer / Animator.

• Showreel and design portfolio are mandatory.

• Strong visual sensibility with a solid grasp of composition, typography, color theory, and layout.

• Demonstrated expertise in Cinema 4D and 3D animation of objects and environments.

• Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Premiere Pro.

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Familiarity with current AI trends and generation tools, particularly those related to AI video and motion such as Runway and Midjourney.

• Showreel showcasing 3D capabilities, UI micro-animations, logo animations, and engaging video content.

• Exceptional attention to detail, timing, easing, and rhythm.

• Knowledge of no-code tools like Framer or Webflow is a plus.

• Experience in Fintech, Crypto, or Web3 startups is an advantage.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and the process of handing off animations to developers, such as Lottie, is beneficial.
