Technical Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Evaluate client needs and investigate technical solutions for new features and workflows.

• Carry out technical research and produce clear, well-structured documentation.

• Establish technical guidelines and asset creation standards for the art team.

• Enhance geometry, materials, shaders, and assets to optimize performance across various platforms.

• Maintain technical consistency and visual quality in accordance with platform specifications.

• Collaborate with the team, engage in discussions and feedback cycles, and deliver high-quality environment assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Unreal Engine 5.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Nanite and Lumen pipelines.

• Practical experience with shader setup, World Partition, and technical documentation.

• Strong and confident communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

• Capability to receive feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Open-mindedness and eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and workflows.

• Understanding of real-time rendering constraints across PC and consoles (preferred).

• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, C#, or Blueprints (preferred).
