Senior Designer, 3D – Spatial Planning, Rendering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee 3D design for significant projects, converting briefs into spatial narratives from initial concept to completed reality.

• Design spatial systems, architectural concepts, and material palettes across various environments, campaigns, and brand interactions.

• Produce photorealistic renderings that include lighting, materials, human scale, atmosphere, and brand narratives.

• Collaborate with Creative Directors and Design Directors to define creative direction and spatial concepts.

• Develop concepts through technical refinement, production documentation, fabrication, and installation.

• Work alongside 2D and Motion Designers to ensure cohesive brand experiences.

• Facilitate intricate client presentations and support creative decisions.

• Investigate emerging technologies and AI-enhanced workflows.

• Manage complex projects while balancing creative aspirations, timelines, technical realities, and production limitations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in 3D design within an agency, experiential, architectural, or similar environments.

• Mastery of Cinema 4D, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and/or Rhino.

• Proficient in using rendering plugins and AI-driven workflows.

• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.

• Comprehensive understanding of materials, spatial design, fabrication techniques, environmental design, and real-world application.

• Experience managing projects from conceptualization through to fabrication.

• Strong spatial awareness and strategic thinking capabilities.

• A portfolio showcasing conceptual depth, varied project experiences, exceptional craftsmanship, and works that have been realized.

• Ability to lead complex client presentations and convey spatial concepts effectively.
