2D Moho Animator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Animate episodes of Human Buddy using Moho based on approved scripts and storyboards.

• Bring to life characters, props, backgrounds, transitions, and various visual elements.

• Develop and manage character rigs within Moho.

• Transform storyboards into refined animations while ensuring clear timing, acting, and visual storytelling.

• Adhere to the established visual style of Human Buddy and maintain consistency across episodes.

• Collaborate effectively with the Creative Director and fellow animators.

• Incorporate feedback swiftly and implement revisions as required.

• Identify issues early and create practical solutions.

• Organize scenes and deliver them in alignment with the agreed production timeline.

• Utilize motion graphics as necessary for explanations, transitions, humor, and other visual elements.

• Enhance animation efficiency while preserving the quality of the final video.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a 2D animator.

• Strong proficiency in Moho and capability to operate in Moho without needing step-by-step guidance.

• Practical experience with character rigging in Moho.

• Solid grasp of 2D animation principles, including timing, spacing, posing, and character acting.

• Experience working from scripts and storyboards.

• Strong instincts for visual storytelling.

• Ability to work within an established visual style.

• Highly organized and capable of managing individual scenes and meeting deadlines.

• Comfortable collaborating with other animators and receiving direction from a Creative Director.

• Aptitude for receiving feedback and translating it into tangible changes.

• Proactive in identifying and implementing improvements.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.

• Adequate working hours overlap with the South America-based team.

• Bonus: Strong skills in motion graphics.

• Bonus: Experience with animation for YouTube or other digital-first platforms.

• Bonus: Background in creating comedy, educational, or explainer animations.

• Bonus: Experience working with a distributed animation team.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Human Buddy, SolarBalls, MrSpherical, or Telos Media.
