Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop a robust SDK for seamless integration into mobile games and applications built on Unity.

• Construct and uphold native SDK components for both iOS and Android, along with the Unity integration layer.

• Establish the SDK architecture, public APIs, integration methodologies, and communication protocols between Unity and native mobile elements.

• Manage the entire SDK lifecycle, from initial design and implementation to packaging, release, monitoring, and ongoing support.

• Guarantee compatibility across various Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and client environments.

• Collaborate with the Mobile Lead and fellow engineers on technical decisions and implementations.

• Proactively identify technical risks and propose feasible solutions with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing mobile SDKs utilized within Unity applications.

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in Unity SDK development.

• At least 2 years of experience in native mobile development.

• Strong grasp of Unity and the interaction between Unity/C# and native mobile code.

• Professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin.

• Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift.

• Knowledge of mobile application lifecycles, performance factors, threading, and debugging processes.

• Previous experience in leading or significantly owning an SDK initiative is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.

• High degree of ownership, intrinsic motivation, and capability to work independently.
