Senior ML Data Scientist, Health Sensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement sophisticated machine learning pipelines and models aimed at illness detection features, with an emphasis on time-series analysis and thorough validation.

• Lead the commercialization efforts of machine learning models and algorithms in collaboration with scientists, product managers, software developers, product designers, and test engineers.

• Act as the main scientific collaborator for illness algorithm initiatives.

• Design and perform statistical analyses to evaluate and monitor model performance.

• Engage in exploratory research to discover and define new health sensing features.

• Convert proof-of-concept ideas into scalable, market-ready products.

• Identify and prioritize significant opportunities, guiding them from initial concepts to finalized capabilities.

• Oversee and enhance the performance of production algorithms utilizing extensive member data.

• Convey and explain intricate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with 3+ years of professional experience in machine learning and data science.

• Over 5 years of advanced programming expertise in Python and SQL.

• In-depth experience with machine learning and statistical modeling methods, including deep learning, time-series analysis, and signal processing.

• Proven experience throughout the entire lifecycle of developing and commercializing machine learning models and algorithms.

• Capability to work independently and establish project roadmaps.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with illness, infection, or immune response physiology and experience with health data from wearables are considerable advantages.
