Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the setup and execution of D365 Supply Chain Management modules.

• Configure and assist with advanced SCM functionalities, such as Master Planning, Asset Management, Transportation Management, and Quality Management.

• Collect and evaluate business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, solution designs, and system configurations.

• Create documentation for functional designs pertaining to customizations, integrations, reports, and system enhancements.

• Provide guidance to clients on improving supply chain processes, including inventory optimization, demand forecasting, procurement, and warehouse efficiencies.

• Manage implementations and counsel clients during requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, go-live, and post-launch support.

• Develop and carry out system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

• Collaborate with technical and project teams on customizations, integrations, data migration, and project execution.

• Facilitate client workshops, training sessions, and discussions with stakeholders as a trusted D365 SCM consultant.

• Deliver support during go-live and post-launch phases, ensuring successful user adoption.

• Mentor junior team members and share best practices related to D365 SCM.

• Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and contribute to practice growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.

• Strong knowledge of core D365 SCM modules, including Inventory Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Sales and Marketing, and Warehouse Management.

• Experience with advanced SCM modules such as Master Planning, Production Control, Asset Management, Transportation Management, or Quality Management.

• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics.

• Experience in gathering requirements and creating functional design documentation.

• Familiarity with supporting system customizations, integrations, and data transformations.

• Experience leading client workshops and managing stakeholder relationships.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project delivery skills in a consulting setting.

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or other asset-intensive sectors is preferred.

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate is preferred.

• Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is preferred.

• Familiarity with system integrations, EDI, or advanced warehouse automation solutions is preferred.
