Senior Microsoft 365 Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead workshops focused on discovery, assessment, and architecture utilizing Microsoft technologies.

• Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions tailored to both business and technical requirements.

• Execute tenant migrations, consolidations, and separations related to divestitures.

• Configure and enhance Microsoft 365 identity, collaboration, security, and compliance functionalities.

• Create High-Level and Low-Level Designs, along with implementation plans and necessary documentation.

• Oversee technical streams while providing subject matter expertise throughout the delivery process.

• Conduct platform health assessments and develop remediation strategies.

• Assist with migrations concerning identity, email, collaboration, endpoints, and data.

• Offer guidance on Microsoft licensing, governance, security, and best practices.

• Identify technical risks and formulate strategies for mitigation.

• Facilitate service transitions and perform operational handovers.

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders while leading workshops.

• Support client transformation initiatives, including tenant consolidations, divestitures, modern workplace solutions, security, compliance, and cloud adoption projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in delivering Microsoft 365 projects within enterprise settings.

• Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, tenant migrations, or transformation programs.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.

• Capability to work autonomously in both consulting and hands-on technical delivery roles.

• Proficient in creating detailed architecture and design documentation.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of Azure infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Nerdio.

• Expertise in Microsoft Purview.

• Strong consulting, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

• Comfortable engaging with senior technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Self-driven, delivery-focused, with a systematic approach to governance, risk, and assurance.
