This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as a scientific authority on prostate cancer within the designated region.
• Execute the Medical Affairs product and indication strategy while fostering and sustaining scientific collaborations.
• Engage in proactive and reactive scientific discussions with external clinical and research professionals.
• Convey in-label product information, details about the clinical development program, and scientific insights on products and indications currently under development.
• Implement the centrally sanctioned Medical Plan in the region and coordinate topics specific to indications.
• Cultivate a strategic understanding of treatment protocols, research activities, and advancements.
• Recognize unresolved scientific inquiries, data deficiencies, and unmet medical requirements.
• Formulate and execute medical strategies.
• Identify prospective study sites and establish collaborations with research centers.
• Assist in the selection of study sites and investigators, along with the arrangement, planning, and execution of both interventional and non-interventional studies.
• Prepare for and participate in investigator meetings while presenting study outcomes.
• Organize and conduct medical education initiatives.
• Represent the company scientifically at national and international congresses, investigator meetings, and medical education events.
• Provide organizational assistance for advisory board gatherings.
• Build and enhance the network of key opinion leaders.
• Engage with professional medical societies and health policy organizations.
• Assess and compile current medical and scientific data from literature.
• Completed degree in medicine, natural sciences, or pharmacy; a doctorate is preferred.
• Sufficient scientific expertise in a human medical and clinical environment, ideally with experience in uro-oncology, particularly prostate cancer.
• Alternatively, experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in other medical roles is beneficial.
• A proactive mindset, resilience, and professionalism in challenging or unfamiliar clinical scenarios are essential.
• Strong project management abilities, experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams, and a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient written and spoken German and English.
• Willingness to travel and capability to work independently within the region are necessary.
• Experience in clinical study planning and investigator engagement.
• An established network within professional societies and among key opinion leaders (KOLs) in uro-oncology and/or prostate cancer.
• Experience in medical education, advisory boards, congresses, and project management.
• Familiarity with the current treatment landscape for prostate cancer and relevant care pathways is advantageous.
