This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and scientific institutions in the field of rheumatology.

• Provide credible scientific presentations concerning disease areas and AbbVie's product pipeline.

• Assist in the identification and engagement of external experts for research partnerships, advisory boards, and scientific events.

• Facilitate the launch and execution of AbbVie-sponsored clinical trials in collaboration with clinical operations teams.

• Collect and disseminate field-based medical intelligence, encompassing clinical practice trends, evidence gaps, and insights into the competitive landscape.

• Participate in pertinent scientific congresses and meetings.

• Support physicians with requests for named patient or compassionate use access when applicable.

• Conduct all activities in accordance with local laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field is highly preferred; candidates with an undergraduate degree coupled with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role such as MSL, Clinical Research Associate, or a comparable field-based position in the pharmaceutical or medical industry.

• A strong understanding of clinical research methodology and the pharmaceutical regulatory landscape.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to foster trusted relationships with healthcare professionals.

• An analytical mindset accompanied by strong problem-solving capabilities.

• High standards of scientific integrity and compliance.

• Proficiency in English and German.
