Pipeline Medical Science Liaison – Neuroscience, Specialty Care – Focus Psychiatry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish and continually enhance trusted scientific relationships with investigators, medical professionals, potential study sites, and scientific institutions throughout Germany.

• Engage in non-promotional scientific discussions regarding diseases, treatment alternatives, and AbbVie’s pipeline.

• Aid clinical development programs by partnering with study sites and addressing challenges related to screening and recruitment.

• Contribute to assessments of country and site feasibility, as well as the selection of study sites and experts.

• Collaborate with Clinical Site Monitoring, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and various other global and local functions.

• Design and execute scientific exchange formats, medical education initiatives, advisory boards, congress contributions, and scientific presentations.

• Collect and analyze medical and field insights, integrating them into pipeline and medical strategy development.

• Identify prospects for scientific collaborations, new assets, innovative treatment strategies, and research initiatives.

• Convey information regarding investigational products and compounds under development in compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in medicine, pharmacy, or the natural sciences is required.

• A doctorate or comparable advanced qualification is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs is essential.

• Experience in psychiatry is highly desirable.

• A solid understanding of clinical research and development, scientific methodologies, and current regulatory standards.

• Ability to critically evaluate complex clinical data and scientific concepts and communicate them effectively.

• Strong communication skills and scientific integrity.

• Independent, structured, and cross-functional working approach.

• Proficiency in both German and English communication skills.

• Openness to regular travel throughout Germany, up to approximately 75%.
