This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +5 more states.
• Deliver unbiased, scientifically grounded information and education to opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a recognized leader in scientific and clinical knowledge regarding both current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products within the relevant therapeutic domain.
• Keep updated on the latest scientific developments and treatment methodologies in pertinent therapeutic areas.
• Offer research support for both company-led and investigator-initiated studies.
• Establish and nurture relationships with identified key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers while managing the designated geographical area.
• Create and sustain a strategic plan for the territory that includes educational initiatives with recognized opinion leaders, healthcare providers, institutions, and community practices.
• Collaborate in a compliant manner with field-based colleagues to support healthcare providers and positively influence patient outcomes.
• Conduct both virtual and face-to-face engagements, prioritizing in-person interactions when suitable.
• Exhibit strategic territory planning, robust scientific knowledge, and effective relationship-building skills.
• Provide ongoing support to Department Operations and internal partners.
• A PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in neurology, immunology, and/or neuromuscular fields.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or 2-3 years of relevant clinical or research experience in pharmaceuticals.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time, based on geography, including overnight stays and weekends as necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Proficiency in influence and results orientation, communication, stakeholder engagement, product and therapeutic area knowledge, as well as data insights and dissemination.
• Capability to perform activities in alignment with current regulatory and healthcare compliance standards.
• Preferred: Experience with product launches in rare diseases.
• Preferred: Extensive experience in delivering presentations.
