Senior Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise, high-quality, and non-promotional scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders.

• Develop and implement strategies for conveying complex scientific information to the healthcare community.

• Provide scientific communication regarding BeOne’s pipeline products and indications currently in development.

• Facilitate responses to unsolicited medical information requests.

• Present clinical, developmental, and publication data on BeOne products during field visits and scientific meetings.

• Assist, attend, and follow up on scientific congresses and events.

• Support booth activities, session coverage, insight gathering, and omnichannel initiatives.

• Identify, map, develop, and sustain engagement plans for medical experts and institutional networks.

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare professionals and cooperative groups.

• Propose, initiate, implement, and oversee scientific partnerships for key clinical sites and hospitals.

• Participate in the planning and execution of medical events, congresses, and advisory boards.

• Identify and verify investigators and clinical sites for company-sponsored clinical trials.

• Monitor advancements in the therapeutic area and standards of care.

• Participate in site feasibility assessments, clinical trial site planning, onboarding, and follow-up.

• Act as the primary territory liaison for Investigator Sponsored Research proposals from submission through publication.

• Gather, analyze, and communicate field-based medical insights.

• Provide scientific input and feedback for medical affairs strategies.

• Identify unmet medical needs and emerging trends.

• Plan, organize, and chair local medical meetings.

• Collaborate with European and Global Medical Affairs teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Offer scientific and medical expertise to cross-functional teams.

• Organize local scientific events, review literature, and provide scientific training and medical updates to the Field Sales Force.

• Develop and implement a medical plan to achieve shared objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD, PhD or PharmD with at least 4 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.

• Proven history in the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably with relevant clinical, scientific, and/or medical affairs experience in the related therapeutic area.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of the relevant therapeutic area landscape and local market dynamics.

• In-depth knowledge of disease states, differential algorithms for treatment decisions, treatment guidelines, compliance standards, and local/regional regulatory requirements.

• Ability to identify and address unmet medical, educational, and research needs within the medical community.

• Proven capability to translate scientific and clinical data into actionable medical insights.

• Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage projects and/or colleagues in successfully implementing business-critical projects.

• Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic and global environment.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

• An advanced scientific or clinical degree is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experienced with electronic CRM systems.

• Fluency in both verbal and written English and the local language is necessary.

• A valid driving license is mandatory.

• This is a field-based role with significant travel expected within the assigned area (50-60%).
