Medical Science Liaison, MSL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, professional associations, and prominent external experts.

• Act as the main scientific liaison for healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.

• Facilitate scientific discussions and deliver prompt, precise responses to medical information inquiries.

• Lead and support advisory boards, scientific meetings, congresses, and educational initiatives.

• Create and implement engagement strategies for key external experts and assist in speaker development activities.

• Collect, analyze, and share medical insights from the field to guide strategic decision-making.

• Assist in clinical trial feasibility assessments, investigator-initiated studies, and evidence generation efforts.

• Keep current with knowledge in assigned therapeutic areas, pipeline advancements, and the competitive landscape.

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Clinical Development, and other departments.

• Contribute to product launch preparations and lifecycle management activities across the Nordic region.

• Ensure that all activities adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and relevant regulations.

• Engage in approximately 80% customer-facing activities.

• Report directly to the Head of Medical Affairs Nordics.


⛳️ Requirements

• MD or a Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field, paired with a PhD or an equivalent scientific qualification.

• Prior experience as an MSL, Medical Advisor, Clinical Scientist, or in a related Medical Affairs position.

• Strong capability to interpret, analyze, and convey scientific and clinical data.

• Experience in engaging with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical settings is highly desirable.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong influencing abilities and stakeholder management skills.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.

• Scientific curiosity, adaptability in learning, and a passion for medical dialogue.

• Proficiency in Danish and English.

• Additional proficiency in other Nordic languages is considered an asset.
