Medical Science Liaison, MSL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Act as the scientific authority and primary medical liaison between CSL and external healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, researchers, and various stakeholders.

• Promote scientific dialogue, collect field insights, and assist in evidence generation initiatives throughout the Nordic region.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, professional associations, and key external experts.

• Function as the main scientific contact for healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.

• Engage in scientific discussions and provide prompt, precise responses to medical information inquiries.

• Lead and facilitate advisory boards, scientific gatherings, congresses, and educational programs.

• Develop and implement engagement strategies for key external experts and aid in speaker development initiatives.

• Collect, analyze, and convey medical insights from the field to guide strategic decision-making.

• Assist with clinical trial feasibility evaluations, investigator-initiated studies, and evidence generation efforts.

• Keep abreast of the latest knowledge in assigned therapeutic areas, pipeline advancements, and the competitive landscape.

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Clinical Development, and other departments.

• Contribute to product launch preparations and lifecycle management endeavors across the Nordic region.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, requirements, and relevant regulations.

• Report directly to the Head of Medical Affairs for the Nordics.


⛳️ Requirements

• MD, or a Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field in conjunction with a PhD or equivalent scientific qualification.

• Prior experience as an MSL, Medical Advisor, Clinical Scientist, or in a similar Medical Affairs role.

• Strong capability to interpret, analyze, and communicate scientific and clinical information.

• Experience interacting with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders.

• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical settings is highly preferred.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management expertise.

• A cooperative mindset paired with the ability to work autonomously.

• Keen scientific curiosity, adaptability to learning, and enthusiasm for medical discussions.

• Proficiency in Swedish and English.

• Additional proficiency in Nordic languages is viewed as an advantage.
