Senior Medical Project Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversees, coordinates, and assesses medical projects for one or more programs.

• Acts as a representative of the company within the medical research community and fosters collaborative relationships with personnel from client companies.

• Operates independently to conduct initial reviews of safety data.

• Analyzes data for safety trends, consistency in coding, and potential follow-ups with investigator sites.

• Proactively identifies potential issues and addresses or escalates them as necessary.

• Functions independently as the Project Lead for medical monitoring services.

• Manages the implementation, coordination, maintenance, and closure of assigned studies as needed.

• Serves as the primary liaison for clinical project teams regarding studies.

• Develops and maintains medical management plans for studies.

• Independently assesses the hours needed for tasks that fall outside the project scope for the teams.

• Participates in meetings to discuss and justify modification requirements.

• Solves complex problems through comprehensive evaluation of various factors and proposes solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related Health Sciences (Physician's Assistant) or a licensed RN.

• Relevant previous experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (equivalent to 5+ years).

• Over 5 years of clinical safety experience (which may include clinical research monitoring, pharmacovigilance, or a combination of both).

• Advanced understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) for the medical oversight of clinical trials.

• Familiarity with drug development processes and safety reporting procedures.

• Advanced expertise in safety data trending, including coding.

• Proficient in biostatistics, data management, and clinical procedures.

• Exceptional project management and budgeting abilities.

• Strong mentoring skills with the capability to train and lead others.

• Keen attention to detail.
