Senior Medical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a strategic partner with senior executive team members to formulate and enhance the clinical development strategy.

• Propel the clinical research vision and regulatory roadmap for the organization.

• Lead the formulation of clinical strategies and programs.

• Develop standards and policies to optimize the potential success of compounds in development.

• Create a target product profile and development plan.

• Implement clinical trials.

• Coordinate efforts with clinical research organizations and other vendors.

• Develop and oversee clinical advisory boards.

• Expand internal clinical research capabilities.

• Supervise clinical collaboration initiatives with partners, principal investigators, and key opinion leaders.

• Offer insight and direction on clinical and medical needs for strategic planning and new business prospects.

• Provide leadership and oversight across clinical operations, clinical science, medical monitoring, and regulatory affairs.

• Drive the implementation of clinical trial plans to yield safety, pharmacokinetic, and efficacy data that support regulatory and marketing validation.

• Establish and maintain relationships with principal investigators, consultants, and KOLs.

• Stay informed about competitors and clinical advancements by participating in scientific meetings and reviewing relevant literature.

• Assist in pursuing product and technology partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.

• Establish and maintain collaborations with academic, governmental, and industry partners.
