This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Design, develop, and manage Node.js applications hosted on AWS Lambda.
• Create and improve IVR and self-service workflows utilizing Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex.
• Develop integrations between contact center solutions and enterprise applications, as well as databases, CRM systems, and third-party APIs.
• Construct reusable Lambda services that support authentication, routing, customer identification, case management, and self-service transactions.
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures leveraging AWS services.
• Implement secure coding standards, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
• Contribute to the development and automation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and AWS DevOps services.
• Diagnose production issues and enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with solution architects, contact center engineers, quality assurance teams, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create automated unit, integration, and regression tests for serverless applications.
• Develop technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in Node.js development.
• More than 2 years of hands-on experience in AWS development.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying AWS Lambda functions.
• Familiarity with Amazon Connect and/or Amazon Lex.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with AWS services like API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Proficient in using Git and GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and cloud security principles.
• Preferred: Experience in developing contact center IVR solutions.
• Preferred: Background in conversational AI and chatbot implementations.
• Preferred: Experience integrating with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform).
• Preferred: Experience working in Agile development settings.
• Preferred: AWS Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
