This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Cultivate and enhance profitable business relationships with both existing and new accounts.
• Recognize and evaluate business opportunities leveraging insights into clients, markets, products, and services.
• Deliver sales presentations to both current and prospective clients.
• Educate clients on the advantages of utilizing the organization's products and services to fulfill their requirements.
• Establish and uphold an effective referral network and outreach program to drive sales.
• Identify new logo opportunities and guide deals from strategy to closure.
• Oversee pipeline activities with diligent follow-up and execution practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to expand and retain the existing portfolio of customers.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of relevant professional experience.
• Willingness to travel (locally and regionally, with some national travel).
• Previous experience in business card sales/payments is preferred.
• Strong skills in sales and new business development.
• Proven capability to identify new logo opportunities, engage in consultative discovery, and close deals effectively.
• Experience working with mid-sized to large enterprises, including clients generating $10MM+ in annual revenue.
• Proficient in credit analysis and financial assessment.
• Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles related to financial transactions.
• Demonstrated success in developing and utilizing Centers of Influence (COIs) to create new business opportunities.
• Proven track record in managing pipeline activities with consistent follow-up and execution discipline.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payment products.
• General understanding of product marketing and organizational operations.
• Strong customer relationship management abilities, including negotiation, decision-making, and innovative problem-solving.
• Evidence of collaboration with internal teams to expand and retain existing portfolio customers.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage leads, activities, and sales performance.
