Senior Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take the initiative to advance projects through all stages of design and construction.

• Create mechanical and plumbing systems specifically for data centers.

• Supervise the development of all mechanical designs, systems, and drawings.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team, project owners, and contractors to produce drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams, and manufacturers.

• Choose and schedule key equipment.

• Work closely with MEI staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines.

• Travel to job sites may be necessary for site assessments and client meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering design, specifically for mechanical systems in data centers or other critical projects.

• A valid Mechanical P.E. license and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineering in Training certification will also be considered).

• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and mentor junior staff.

• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and energy regulations.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to achieve long-term goals.

• Self-driven, comfortable with uncertainty, and eager to collaborate within a team.

• Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, and Revit.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
