
Senior M&E Quality Assurance, QA Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Conduct assigned QA audits using departmental methodologies and workpapers.
• Implement audit engagements through standardized checklists and/or inquiry-based audit methods.
• Perform intricate reviews, investigations, and various audits aimed at enhancing processes that support M&E operations.
• Execute audits in support of the Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (C.A.S.E.).
• Carry out root cause analyses with input from stakeholders and create and apply effective corrective actions.
• Oversee the progress of corrective actions and assess the effectiveness of final implementations.
• Document audit findings and results in the QA database.
• Conduct follow-up actions and validate the implementation of audit corrective measures.
• Utilize the Safety Management System (SMS) and stay updated with SMS training requirements.
• Collaborate with the Manager QA and Director QA to establish a long-term QA scheduling strategy based on risk assessments and C.A.S.E. tasks.
• Effectively communicate audit scopes and results across all levels of the organization.
• Foster awareness of risk management and operational safety assurance.
• Assist in the development of tools and techniques that enhance risk management and internal controls.
• Support external reviews and business as well as aviation-related projects, including annual external audits, Department of Defense surveys, and IATA Operational Safety Audits (IOSA).
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in the airline industry, auditing, or a related field as a substitute for this degree.
• Familiarity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, operating policies, and procedures.
• Capability to comprehend, audit, and document complex business and operational processes.
• Proficiency in scoping audit projects and contributing to planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up stages.
• C.A.S.E Qualified Auditor.
• Strong aptitude for balancing and managing multiple projects and demands effectively.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Frequent travel is required, including international travel.
• A valid passport is necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
