This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Design and construct resolved identity and relationship foundations for clients in the financial services sector.
• Take full ownership of end-to-end MDM and relationship-graph architecture encompassing data modeling, integration, data quality, and governance.
• Develop and configure match and merge logic, survivorship and trust rules, validation rules, and management of golden records.
• Create entity resolution, golden records, relationship graphs, source-data pipelines, and master-data syndication.
• Set up data-quality baselines along with survivorship and stewardship operating models.
• Define the identity seam connecting the client identity platform and the MDM layer.
• Establish engineering standards and document a repeatable delivery methodology.
• Mentor and develop a small engineering team.
• Collaborate with data governance, CRM and source-system owners, and business stakeholders.
• Simplify complex MDM concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create crosswalks between source-system keys and canonical party identifiers.
• Implement merge, unmerge, and split handling, validation, and lifecycle management for golden records.
• Model person, legal entity, household, account, relationship, hierarchy, crosswalk, and reference data domains.
• Design relationship-graph ontology with effective dating.
• Develop profiling, data-quality rules, exception handling, steward workflows, issue queues, dashboards, and data dictionaries.
• Design inbound/outbound integrations, ingestion jobs, change data capture, and real-time resolve-and-lookup services.
• Convert authenticated identity claims into resolved party identifiers.
• Manage cloud environments across development, testing, QA, and production with an emphasis on performance tuning, monitoring, and cost management.
• Construct graph queries and traversals for multi-hop questions with explainable, evidenced assertions and effective dates.
• Prepare for audit and regulatory review with lineage, decision logs, and traceable survivorship.
• Between ten to fifteen years of experience in enterprise data engineering and architecture, with master data management implemented in production environments.
• Capability to both architect and construct MDM systems.
• Required experience in financial services, with a strong preference for private and commercial banking.
• Proven experience in physical MDM design utilizing a party model.
• Background in resolving duplicated or unresolved entities upstream in identity.
• Familiarity with enterprise identity platforms, such as Ping.
• Experience in building for audit in a regulated industry, having successfully navigated a real audit or examination.
• Experience with AI-assisted MDM, including intelligent match scoring, automated survivorship recommendations, and anomaly detection.
• Familiarity with banking systems including Fiserv, Salesforce, Broadridge, and Fenergo.
• Proven track record of mentoring or leading a small engineering team.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery roles.
• Exposure to externalized authorization or relationship-based access control.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python, with Java or .Net as necessary.
• Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise MDM platform such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, Semarchy, Ataccama, or Profisee.
• Familiarity with data governance and quality tools like Ab Initio or Collibra, as well as workflow tools.
• Experience with modern cloud data stacks preferred on Azure, including medallion or lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with Neo4j/Cypher or Cosmos DB/Gremlin.
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, and beneficial ownership requirements under the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA PATRIOT Act.
• Ability to manage PII, tokenization, and access controls appropriately.
• Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Must reside in the U.S. and hold U.S. citizenship.
