This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Support client personnel with the daily operation and assistance of Fortinet products.

• Create methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, and updates.

• Formulate test plans and evaluate new features and/or releases.

• Validate configurations and apply best practices.

• Conduct interoperability assessments of devices interacting with Fortinet products.

• Offer training and knowledge transfer to client personnel.

• Develop and maintain expertise in Fortinet's product line and technologies.

• Address and/or escalate issues promptly.

• Collaborate with end users to outline specific daily tasks during the agreement period.

• Assist Fortinet customers as part of a dedicated Professional Services engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.

• More than 5 years of experience with Network Security Products.

• At least 2 years of experience with Fortinet products.

• Experience as a Professional Services Consultant/Engineer is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of security and networking principles and technologies.

• Familiarity with network security infrastructure: Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFi.

• Knowledge of security systems: Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application Control.

• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Ability to adjust to changing priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to respond to project changes and adjustments swiftly and effectively.

• Flexibility during periods of transition.

• Skill in gaining cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments.

• Ability to successfully complete projects while navigating political sensitivities.

• Strong commitment and a self-motivated approach.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
