This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assist client personnel with daily operations and support of Fortinet products.

• Create methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, and updates.

• Develop test plans and evaluate new features and/or releases.

• Confirm configurations and apply best practices.

• Conduct interoperability assessments of devices interacting with Fortinet products.

• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client personnel.

• Establish and sustain core expertise in Fortinet’s product offerings and technologies.

• Address and/or escalate issues promptly.

• Collaborate with the end user to outline specific daily tasks throughout the agreement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.

• More than 5 years of experience with Network Security Products.

• At least 2 years of experience with Fortinet products.

• Experience as a Professional Services Consultant/Engineer is a plus.

• Strong understanding of security and networking principles and technologies.

• Knowledge of network security infrastructure, including Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, and WiFi.

• Familiarity with security systems, including Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, and Application Control.

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.

• Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Capability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to respond to project changes and adjustments swiftly and effectively.

• Flexibility during transitional periods.

• Skill in obtaining cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments.

• Proficiency in successfully completing projects while being politically sensitive.

• Strong dedication and self-motivated approach.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work-related experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
