Senior Material Planner – Aftermarket

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the formulation of strategies for materials planning and Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP).

• Create standardized processes for materials planning and SIOP to enhance resource optimization and meet delivery goals.

• Establish indicators for gaining insights into both short- and long-term market trends and demand.

• Evaluate demand streams and create linkages in data relationships.

• Work in partnership with product development, sales, and marketing leaders to generate demand forecasts.

• Plan for capacity and fulfillment demands in alignment with plant manufacturing operations.

• Facilitate monthly production volume planning utilizing business forecasts, inventory status, customer orders, and capacity parameters.

• Innovate new technologies to enhance materials planning and SIOP efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.

• Monitor metrics to drive performance and foster continuous improvement.

• Formulate processes and plans aimed at boosting supply capabilities.

• Set metrics to evaluate progress through enhancements in the SIOP process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with over 7 years of experience in a planning position.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Excel.

• Alternatively, a Master’s degree with more than 5 years of experience in a planning role.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (such as KetteQ, SAP, etc.).

• Experience in Safety Stock Identification and Analysis.

• Knowledge of lead time management and re-order point analysis.

• Familiarity with Power-BI.
