This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Facilitate sessions to gather use cases and requirements with the client's marketing and CRM teams.
• Transform business objectives into actionable, testable customer journeys.
• Design and set up cross-channel campaigns and canvases in Braze, covering email, push notifications, in-app messages, SMS, and various other messaging platforms.
• Create and manage dynamic, personalized content utilizing Liquid, Connected Content, and Content Blocks.
• Configure user attributes, custom events, segments, and audience synchronization from the CDP and data warehouse.
• Assist in transitioning from legacy marketing automation systems, which includes template creation, data and journey reconstruction, parallel operations, and cutover processes.
• Organize and execute quality assurance, seed lists, previews, A/B testing, multivariate testing, and control group analysis.
• Oversee deliverability, performance, and data flows while diagnosing issues across the technology infrastructure.
• Integrate consent, preference management, and regulated content controls into customer journeys, ensuring compliance with GDPR and industry-specific regulations.
• Empower client teams through comprehensive documentation, training, and hands-on coaching.
• Contribute to the development of delivery accelerators, templates, and reusable assets.
• Assist in pre-sales activities by providing scoping and effort estimates.
• Preference for Braze certification (Certified Practitioner or higher); strong candidates from alternative engagement platforms who commit to obtaining Braze certification within their first three months will also be considered.
• Certifications in Twilio Segment, Adobe Marketo Engage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Journey Optimizer are advantageous.
• Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in marketing automation or customer engagement platforms, preferably within a consulting, agency, or enterprise martech environment.
• Demonstrated experience in building multi-step, multi-channel journeys, with a solid understanding of segmentation, triggers, throttling, and frequency capping.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS for email and message templates, and comfortable working with Liquid or similar templating languages.
• Knowledge of customer data flows into engagement platforms from CDPs like Segment and data warehouses such as Snowflake, using APIs, SDKs, and data synchronization.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with product analytics and experimentation tools such as Amplitude is an advantage.
• Practical understanding of GDPR, ePrivacy, and consent management.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Background in consulting or agency work, credible with client marketers, and comfortable collaborating with data engineers and architects.
• Fluent in English.
• Eligible to work in an EMEA country where BPX operates.
