This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies that align with company goals, sales targets, channel strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Oversee marketing schedules, campaigns, projects, and measurable goals across various initiatives.
• Discover opportunities to enhance market presence, boost customer engagement, and support sales efforts.
• Direct marketing initiatives from the planning stage through to execution, evaluation, and follow-up.
• Monitor marketing activities and their effectiveness, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Administer marketing materials, collateral, messaging, presentations, solution documentation, brochures, case studies, digital content, and other resources.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert technical solutions into engaging business narratives.
• Oversee social media content schedules and coordinate digital marketing efforts.
• Manage updates to website content and enhancements related to marketing.
• Utilize CRM and marketing tools to implement campaigns, monitor engagement, and assess outcomes.
• Organize and manage trade shows, conferences, customer and partner events, sponsorships, and other marketing gatherings.
• Handle event scheduling, budgeting, logistics, messaging, collateral, promotional materials, and internal coordination.
• Collaborate with Sales and Channel teams on business objectives and post-event follow-up.
• Research and assess event and sponsorship opportunities.
• Coordinate with third-party resources, vendors, designers, and partners.
• Create marketing programs, campaigns, collateral, and messaging that support both direct and channel sales.
• Aid in customer expansion, partner marketing, and account-based marketing strategies.
• Ensure consistency in Velocity’s branding, messaging, and visual representation.
• Report directly to the VP of Revenue Operations and work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Channel, and leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, telecommunications, managed services, or a similar sector.
• Proven experience managing various marketing disciplines, including content, digital and social media, campaigns, events, and sales enablement.
• Exceptional writing, editing, messaging, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in organizing trade shows, customer events, sponsorships, and managing event logistics.
• Experience in developing marketing content, sales materials, and customer-facing communications.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Channel, and leadership teams.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Capability to balance strategic planning with practical execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
