Regional Marketing Specialist, Mandarin Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Acquire an in-depth understanding of local educational institutions, resources for parents, community dynamics, and market trends.

• Recognize user requirements and explore potential marketing avenues.

• Interact with local parent WeChat groups and cultivate relationships with parents.

• Create and develop engaging content for WeChat and Xiaohongshu platforms.

• Test and enhance content strategies.

• Organize and implement local parent events, community collaborations, and education-focused initiatives.

• Foster connections with local organizations and community resources.

• Proactively manage marketing projects from the planning phase through execution and follow-up.

• Coordinate both internal and external resources, oversee execution details, and assess project results.

• Gradually assume responsibility for a specific geographic market, with the potential to advance to a Regional Marketing Lead or Regional Market Owner role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in Marketing, Content Creation, Community Engagement, Education, Social Media, or a related discipline.

• Strong user insight with the ability to discern and comprehend user needs and behaviors.

• Exceptional communication abilities in both English and Chinese.

• Proficient in research, information gathering, learning, and problem-solving techniques.

• Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-driven, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Preferred: Experience in managing or engaging with local parent communities within the U.S.

• Preferred: Knowledge of WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, and other community or content platforms.

• Preferred: Experience in K–12 education, local marketing, offline events, or community partnerships.
