This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more states.
• Manage the analytical partnership between the Data Team and the Marketing department.
• Develop and sustain essential marketing dashboards, reports, and models.
• Evaluate visitor-to-trial-to-paid funnels, analyze nurture performance, lifecycle advancement, and leading indicators.
• Measure channel and campaign effectiveness, including expenditure, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), payback periods, pipeline contributions, and retained revenue.
• Redesign and uphold marketing attribution while reconciling platform-reported metrics with warehouse data.
• Create and assess marketing experiments, covering landing pages, nurture sequences, pricing strategies, and messaging packaging.
• Identify issues with tracking implementations, cookie and local-storage management, and referrer behavior.
• Oversee event taxonomy, Google Tag Manager container, UTM naming conventions, tracking quality assurance, dataLayer specifications, and server-side tracking requirements.
• Manage HubSpot marketing property schema and define the Marketing KPI and Metrics Glossary.
• Establish workflows between Data and Marketing, including intake procedures, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalation routes, and expectations for data freshness.
• Create self-service dashboards and automated reports using Lightdash, Amplitude, and GA4.
• Leverage LLM-assisted tools and AI coding agents for data exploration, query creation, insight synthesis, and documentation.
• Identify data quality issues, engage in triage and agile planning, conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior analysts, and assist in establishing analytics standards.
• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in a data analyst role, with substantial involvement in marketing, growth, or go-to-market funnel analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Comprehensive ownership of a marketing measurement ecosystem, including attribution modeling, event taxonomy, UTM governance, and platform-to-warehouse reconciliation.
• Capability to troubleshoot existing tracking implementations, including tracking codes, cookies, local storage, and referrer management.
• Proven experience utilizing AI coding agents and LLM-assisted tools as a fundamental part of the analytical process.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Competence in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis, with experience in production-quality coding.
• Practical experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, a CRM (HubSpot is highly preferred), and reporting on paid channels.
• Familiarity with contemporary Business Intelligence and product analytics tools such as Lightdash, Looker, or Amplitude.
• Experience integrating CRM, product, finance, and marketing data.
• Ability to effectively communicate insights to senior non-technical audiences through written reports, verbal presentations, and visualizations.
• Experience in metric governance, definitions, ownership, and resolving discrepancies in metrics.
• Ability to define ambiguous questions, articulate assumptions, and deliver meaningful analyses even when complete data is not available.
• Experience in SaaS or B2B environments, subscription metrics, product-led trial funnels, dbt, server-side tracking, incrementality testing, embedded analytics, LLM application patterns, or mentoring are considered advantageous.
