This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more state.
• Take complete ownership of ZOE's entry into the German market, dedicating roughly 75% of effort to Germany and 25% to cross-market initiatives.
• Serve as the in-market growth strategist, collaborating with Finance and briefing central Lifecycle and Performance teams on local commercial experiments.
• Cultivate relationships with top-tier German consumer, health, trade, and national journalists.
• Pitch stories, secure media coverage, and organize product gifting and media events.
• Tailor ZOE's science-driven brand narrative for German consumers and formulate a customized market-entry strategy.
• Identify, brief, and manage local PR freelancers, agencies, and brand ambassadors as needed.
• Assist with cross-market scientific publications, product launches, and reactive press office tasks.
• Compose briefing documents, opinion pieces, press releases, and Q&As in both German and English.
• Disseminate EU market insights and playbooks throughout the organization.
• Report directly to the GM of International Growth and collaborate with the Head of Global Communications.
• Execute a German market-entry strategy, press network, commercial growth tests, campaigns, media placements, brand search growth, and a replicable marketing playbook.
• Senior individual contributor with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in launching or scaling a consumer brand in Germany.
• Ideally, experience in health, wellness, nutrition, science, or consumer technology.
• Native or certified C2 level proficiency in German.
• Fluent in English at C1/C2 level, which is the primary internal working language.
• Ability to localize complex scientific and health concepts with utmost precision.
• Strong existing connections with German journalists.
• Demonstrated success in securing significant press coverage.
• Commercially focused on brand search, web traffic, sign-ups, and agency efficiency.
• High degree of autonomy and comfort working without a local team.
• Basic knowledge of German health marketing regulations (HWG / EU Health Claims) and DSGVO is a plus.
• Additional European languages are advantageous.
• Previous experience navigating a matrix remote organization across UK/US time zones is a bonus.
• Must be eligible to work in the country of residence without requiring sponsorship.
