This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist in advancing the company's sales objectives.
• Supervise a team of Market Managers and Field Marketing specialists.
• Enhance sales, boost brand visibility, and fortify distributor-partner relationships within a designated region.
• Foster and reinforce connections between the company and its distributor partners.
• Achieve volume and distribution goals through company-led sales initiatives.
• Convey sales and marketing strategies to the Sales Team and distributor partners.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual sales calls and business evaluations with distributor partners and prominent retailers.
• Implement wholesaler engagement strategies.
• Set and carry out local retailer visitation schedules at key on-premise and off-premise locations.
• Oversee local volume, sales, marketing, and distributor budgets.
• Utilize IRI, Nielsen, and VIP sales tools to analyze, formulate, and execute strategic sales plans.
• Review weekly business reports and market assessments with the Regional Director.
• Supervise shipments and inventory while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Sustain collaborative relationships with the VP of Sales and other team members.
• Complete administrative tasks, including expense and mileage reports, work calendar, and pricing surveys.
• Participate in special events, festivals, beer dinners, and tastings as required.
• Undertake additional business-related responsibilities and cover other territories as assigned.
• A Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Over 5 years of experience in craft beer sales is preferred; candidates with beverage sales or consumer packaged goods experience will be favored.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency.
• Skilled in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Consistent internet access from home.
• Experience in Team Management, with the capacity to coach and mentor direct reports.
• A passion for the craft beer industry and an appreciation for its culture.
• Results-oriented, energetic, and confident demeanor.
• Outstanding communication abilities, including public speaking and presentation skills.
• Superior interpersonal, organizational, and project management capabilities.
• Must reside in the area where the position is based.
• A valid state driver's license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel and maintain a flexible work schedule, with regular visits to bars, restaurants, retailers, and warehouses.
• Capable and willing to lift a minimum of 31.5 lbs. from ground level to a shelf 50 inches high.
• Able to move 165 lbs. of kegged beer by sliding it across the floor.
• Must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check and driver's license verification.
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures at the workplace is mandatory.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
