This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement Market Development initiatives that align with the strategic objectives set by the Market Development Manager.
• Convert strategic initiatives into practical commercial programs that enhance market penetration and foster customer adoption.
• Assist in market segmentation, competitive analysis, opportunity assessments, and market research efforts.
• Track market trends, commercial performance, and customer adoption metrics, offering recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Contribute to regional business initiatives through insights and commercial execution.
• Drive the creation, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Sales enablement programs.
• Create and manage sales playbooks, value propositions, competitive positioning, application guides, objection-handling tools, customer presentations, and other commercial resources.
• Develop and deliver cross-selling application and market training programs for Sales, distributors, channel partners, Technical Sales Specialists, and Regional Marketing teams.
• Assess Sales enablement effectiveness and refine commercial assets based on customer feedback, commercial performance, and Sales requirements.
• Take ownership of segment-specific marketing content that aligns with the global Market Development strategy.
• Design value propositions, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market assets tailored for customer segments.
• Collaborate with General Marketing on integrated marketing campaigns.
• Assist with cross-selling initiatives during product launches by providing customer-facing content, commercial messaging, and sales enablement materials.
• Design and collaborate on Voice of Customer programs, synthesizing findings into segment insight briefs.
• Organize and deliver partner-facing customer education events and regional conferences.
• Develop and implement customer education programs that promote best practices and solution adoption.
• Produce and present webinars, workshops, training sessions, technical guides, application notes, videos, customer success stories, commercial presentations, and other educational materials.
• Support strategic customer engagements alongside Regional Marketing & Sales, Scientific Affairs, and the Market Development Manager.
• Aid Sales teams in overcoming customer challenges through education, commercial support, and tailored value propositions.
• Gather Voice of Customer insights and market feedback.
• Assist in customer adoption initiatives across key market segments and strategic accounts.
• Modify global commercial materials to suit local market needs in collaboration with Regional Marketing.
• Work closely with Market Development, Market & Business Intelligence, Product Management, Scientific Affairs, General Marketing, and Regional Marketing & Sales.
• Convert scientific, technical, and regulatory information into customer-centric messaging and commercial value propositions.
• Support portfolio positioning for cross-selling and commercial campaigns across global markets.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing customer adoption and commercial effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or a related scientific field, complemented by strong marketing/business knowledge; or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a robust understanding of the food science/food safety market and food segments.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Market Development, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement, Product Management, Technical Sales, or a similar commercial role.
• Proven experience in creating marketing campaigns, commercial content, sales enablement programs, customer education, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to convert customer needs into compelling value propositions and commercial messaging.
• Experience in supporting product launches, commercialization, and customer adoption efforts.
• Background in B2B markets.
• Experience in food safety, diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Superior content development and communication abilities.
• Strong commercial mindset focused on customer adoption and business growth.
• Excellent training and facilitation skills.
• Capability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into compelling customer value propositions.
• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Experience working in international, cross-functional teams.

• Proficient with digital marketing platforms and content management systems.
• Willingness to occasionally work early mornings, evenings, or weekends to accommodate meetings and travel.
