This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Gibraltar.
• Act as the commercial lead facing the market throughout the upstream development cycle.
• Provide commercial insights to inform strategic decisions and enhance launch success.
• Fine-tune product-market alignment using market intelligence.
• Collect market, customer, and clinical insights and convert them into actionable product and commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, clinical, and corporate strategy teams on go-to-market strategies from development to early commercialization.
• Function as the commercial core in cross-functional discussions, influencing product roadmaps and prioritization.
• Identify and connect with KOLs, society leaders, and key stakeholders to shape market entry and foster pre-market advocacy.
• Assist in building clinical and economic evidence for market access, value communication, and regulatory/reimbursement strategies.
• Utilize existing commercial expertise to drive adoption in new areas.
• Formulate market-creation strategies to alter referral pathways, clinical beliefs, and behaviors.
• Develop market-entry strategies for new clinical areas and create playbooks where no established commercial framework exists.
• Consolidate complex inputs into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Formulate commercialization strategies for new indications, encompassing salesforce structure, go-to-market models, pricing, territory design, and sales incentive frameworks.
• Engage directly with physicians, hospital executives, payers, and societies to pinpoint unmet needs and refine clinical and commercial strategies.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Strategy, or Market Development within the MedTech sector.
• Previous leadership experience, including both direct and matrixed leadership roles.
• Proven success in navigating early-stage, ambiguous, or emerging market conditions.
• Ability to quickly acquire clinical and technical knowledge.
• Experience in developing and implementing go-to-market or market creation strategies.
• Capacity to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Proven experience in building and leveraging relationships with KOLs, societies, and executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation abilities.
• Skill in identifying trends, distilling themes, and translating customer preferences into strategic focus areas.
• Familiarity with clinical pathways, hospital economics, capital strategy, and enterprise decision-making processes.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel globally is required.
• Experience in GI is essential.
• Exposure to early product development, market shaping, or pre-launch commercialization alongside engineers.
• Preference for candidates with experience in surgical and/or endoscopic procedures.
• Strategic experience in clinical and reimbursement matters; fluency in payer dynamics.
• Global or international experience is advantageous.
• Current proof of vaccination against certain diseases may be necessary.
• Candidates may be subject to U.S. export-control licensing or Technology Control Plan requirements.
