This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the functional leader for the workforce planning platform within a designated business unit.
• Oversee the platform roadmap and ensure its alignment with business planning requirements.
• Lead the monthly workforce planning routine and the annual planning schedule.
• Manage planning assumptions, reconciliation processes, demand and supply updates, and secure business approvals.
• Convert user requirements into functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the business backlog effectively.
• Collaborate with HR digital technology on configuration, integrations, testing, and deployments.
• Develop and sustain a roadmap for platform and planning capabilities.
• Facilitate functional testing engagement, business acceptance, and resolution of recurrent data, process, and performance challenges.
• Promote platform adoption through rollout strategies, training, and continuous support.
• Link short-term planning outputs with long-term workforce strategies.
• Share best practices and enhancements across various business units.
• For new implementation projects, collaborate on business discovery, requirements gathering, fit-to-standard decisions, testing, planner readiness, and post-launch functional management.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
• Proven experience in workforce planning, business planning, or functional leadership of a planning platform within a complex organization.
• Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Knowledge of workforce demand and supply, headcount and FTE, forecasting cycles, planning assumptions, reconciliation, scenarios, and staffing decisions.
• Experience in defining requirements and prioritizing functional roadmaps or backlogs.
• Proven track record in leading user acceptance testing.
• Experience in enhancing adoption among stakeholder groups.
• U.S. Person status is required.
• Preferred: Experience with Workday HCM, workforce data integration, and planning system implementation.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting new implementation assignments, including business discovery, requirements definition, and stabilization.
