Senior Manager, Value Advisory & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead analyses assessing the impact of Navigation on healthcare costs, utilization, quality, engagement, member experience, and workforce productivity.

• Evaluate Navigation's performance and quantify its value through outcome measurement, benchmarking, and analytical insights.

• Analyze medical, pharmacy, eligibility, engagement, provider, and program data to uncover trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.

• Conduct member-level analyses involving eligibility joins, provider attribution, episode grouping, longitudinal utilization patterns, and outcome measurement.

• Identify opportunities to enhance healthcare affordability, quality, engagement, and outcomes.

• Translate findings into recommendations suitable for executive presentation.

• Collaborate with product, clinical, analytics, and commercial teams to influence Navigation reporting, insights, and measurement capabilities.

• Support the development of client-facing proof points, benchmark studies, outcome analyses, and thought leadership.

• Assess emerging measurement methodologies, market trends, and data sources to enhance Navigation analytics and demonstrate value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, health economics, statistics, healthcare analytics, public health, finance, data science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 5-10 years of experience in healthcare analytics, healthcare consulting, actuarial analysis, health economics, population health, employer-sponsored healthcare, or a related area.

• Significant experience working directly with medical and pharmacy claims data, encompassing eligibility, enrollment, provider, and member-level datasets.

• Strong working knowledge of healthcare coding and classification systems.

• Proven understanding of healthcare cost drivers, utilization patterns, provider performance, clinical outcomes, care gaps, and healthcare affordability.

• Experience in developing methodologies, benchmarks, analytical frameworks, and measurement approaches used to evaluate healthcare programs and outcomes.

• Working knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SAS, or similar technologies.

• Proven capability to translate complex healthcare analyses into actionable business recommendations and insights for executives.

• Preferred experience in evaluating healthcare navigation, advocacy, care management, transparency, provider steerage, or related healthcare solutions.

• Must have work authorization in the United States that does not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.

• Must successfully complete a background check in accordance with Alight's employment policies.

• Must conduct virtual interviews via video.
