Senior Manager, UX Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the clinical UX strategy related to decision support, treatment planning, intervention selection, execution, coordination, and ongoing follow-through.

• Supervise and nurture a team of skilled designers, providing guidance in strategy, trade-offs, stakeholder influence, and leadership within the organization.

• Direct the integration of AI into clinical workflows, encompassing evidence, uncertainty, human oversight, review, and correction processes.

• Collaborate with leaders from Clinical, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Research sectors.

• Align clinical requirements with model capabilities, user evidence, technical limitations, and business priorities.

• Enhance critique, research synthesis, clinical reviews, prototyping, evaluation, and learning methodologies.

• Establish strategic alignment and leadership with product directors, ensuring design is embedded in business strategy.

• Deepen user insights and incorporate research findings into design choices.

• Speed up iteration cycles and decrease time-to-insight by 30%.

• Elevate design as a key business driver that enhances provider engagement, adoption, user experience, and product strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of design experience in a design-focused environment (in-house, agency, or relevant industry).

• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.

• Proven experience leading intricate, high-stakes workflows in healthcare or another specialized professional field.

• Strong discernment in interaction design, information design, research methodologies, and product strategy.

• Capability to mentor seasoned designers and assist them in evolving into strategic decision-makers and organizational leaders.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled products or sound judgment regarding recommendations, automation, evidence, uncertainty, and human oversight.

• Experience with complex systems and applications.

• Proficient in simplifying intricate concepts and crafting engaging, intuitive experiences.

• Ability to work closely with product and engineering teams.
