Senior Manager, Underwriting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial analysis and underwriting processes within the team.

• Lead, cultivate, mentor, and assess Underwriters.

• Administer intricate PBM pricing strategies and financial evaluations.

• Assist CVS Health and Finance leadership in enhancing value.

• Foster high levels of employee engagement.

• Build and sustain relationships with Sales and Account Management.

• Collaborate with Aetna Finance, Pricing, and Sales teams to offer data-driven consultation.

• Aid in the creation of underwriting models and analytical solutions in partnership with internal stakeholders.

• Keep up-to-date with advanced PBM plan management strategies and solutions.

• Engage in client meetings and travel to clients as necessary.

• Execute tasks independently and adhere to tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience, including expertise in financial acumen, pricing, underwriting, or factors impacting enterprise/PBM revenue and profitability.

• 5+ years of experience in PBM and/or healthcare sectors.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.

• Preferred 2+ years of leadership, management, or mentorship experience.

• Previous management experience is desirable, ideally within a healthcare setting.

• A Master's degree is preferred.

• Capability to work independently a significant portion of the time in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in managing tight deadlines with effective delegation.

• Openness and capacity to travel to clients as required.
