Senior Manager, Technology Internal Audit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, assess, and monitor essential accounting risks and controls to create solutions that align with the company's objectives.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of risks and internal controls within financial compliance and regulatory frameworks.

• Provide guidance on engineering and technology systems and practices, including risks and controls related to ERP systems.

• Formulate and implement risk management strategies utilizing data analytics, automation tools, and artificial intelligence.

• Supervise the strategies of the internal audit team, assess team metrics, and facilitate performance enhancements.

• Work collaboratively with senior management and audit committees, and communicate audit findings to external auditors.

• Create reports and dashboards that highlight significant findings and provide actionable recommendations for leadership teams.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

• 4 years of experience in the offered position or a related role.

• 4 years of experience with financial reporting systems and associated reporting tools.

• 4 years of experience with accounting and auditing standards, including GAAP and GAAS.

• 4 years of experience evaluating risks and designing or assessing controls for internally developed technology platforms and environments.

• 4 years of experience in assessing the design and operating effectiveness of information technology general controls (ITGCs) and automated financial controls.

• 4 years of experience executing internal audit engagements, including pre-IPO readiness and SOX compliance assessments.

• 4 years of experience utilizing advanced data analytics and automation tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
