Senior Manager, Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated areas with minimal guidance, establishing operational direction and innovative changes across technical functions or business lines.

• Lead and manage the team effectively.

• Articulate high-level technical challenges, technology crises, updates, and progress in relation to timelines or SLAs.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders for planning and implementation.

• Achieve target dates or expected timelines for deliverables.

• Strategize technology functions that align with GTS and organizational goals.

• Supervise technical infrastructure, architecture, application systems, and associated business processes.

• Guide daily, quarterly, and yearly planning for the team.

• Spot opportunities for technology enhancement and delivery.

• Propel functional changes through both incremental and significant shifts.

• Identify and address both reactive and proactive issues extending beyond the team’s scope.

• Assist in determining and establishing technology best practices.

• Recognize and mitigate operational and strategic risks.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and methods for cost-efficient solutions.

• Organize training to ensure departmental personnel possess the necessary skills and knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• At least 1 additional year of experience relevant to the functional area.

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience involving hiring, training, task assignment, and performance management of direct reports.

• Extensive knowledge in the primary technology area.

• Strong interpersonal and technical visionary skills.

• Experience managing multiple technology functions is preferred.

• For remote positions, a high level of engagement in virtual settings is essential, including maintaining camera presence during meetings.

• Adherence to Information Security and Privacy Policies is mandatory when handling sensitive personal information.

• Successful completion of pre-employment substance abuse testing is required.
