Senior Manager, Technical Platform Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise product managers who convert the product roadmap into technical features and specifications.

• Assess technical maturity in relation to established standards, guidelines, and patterns.

• Prioritize technological enhancements for a sustainable, reliable, and appealing platform.

• Investigate competitors' products and solutions to match or surpass current capabilities in a cost-effective manner.

• Collaborate on product vision, strategy, and alignment of the roadmap with corporate objectives.

• Ensure that team members represent the customer’s voice to define and prioritize product modifications.

• Lead product planning and support for medium to large technical projects that involve multi-product customer environments.

• Foster trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders and technical project leaders.

• Establish objectives and key results while assisting technical teams in achieving their goals.

• Coordinate product launches with stakeholders.

• Provide guidance to product owners and development teams regarding features and acceptance criteria.

• Suggest technical and process enhancements.

• Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluations, leadership, technical guidance, and coaching.

• Enhance staff capabilities and convey organizational goals.

• Conduct platform analysis to uncover strategic productivity enhancements.

• Propel continuous improvement and optimization of the platform.

• Ensure the successful implementation of the product roadmap.

• Take ownership of platform stability, availability, and performance.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, including previous management experience.

• Equivalent experience achieved through relevant knowledge, duties, scope, and skill reflective of this position may substitute for the degree and experience requirements.

• Experience with one or more of the following: Agile Software Development, Business Analysis, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Management, Project Management.

• Familiarity with the specified product domain and industry trends.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent collaboration and team-building abilities.

• Capacity to coach and provide constructive feedback.

• Proficiency in communicating and making recommendations to upper management.

• Effective conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.

• Proven negotiation skills.

• Certified Scrum Master, Certified Agile Practitioner, or equivalent is required.

• SAFe Scrum Master Certification is preferred.

• Certification as a Scrum Product Owner is preferred.
